Dot Bunn Biography

Dot, a life
long resident of Bucks
County has been working in the arts for over thirty years. Her education
includes oil painting, watercolors as well as textile design.
Her formal art education was at the
Hicks Art Center at Bucks County
Community College and the former
Philadelphia College of Textile and Science. She studied
painting with Paul F. Keene as well as other distinguished
instructors. For many years Dot worked as an illustrator and
designer in the graphic design industry.
For the past five years
Dot and her husband Tom have managed Red Stone Farm, her own
decorative arts business. Dot now paints full time in her studio
focusing on interpreting the Bucks County countryside in oils. Her
work has been exhibited at numerous galleries and shows in Bucks County as well as in New Jersey,
New York, and Canada. Her murals and fine art paintings are in
commercial and private residences from New York to Florida and
Ontario,
Canada. She has presented her
mural work in a slide presentation with commentary for
interested groups. Her commercial fantasy art and illustrations
have been licensed by Old World Prints.
